Housing

Average Cost to live in Denver- May vary depending on where you are living, and what resources you may already have.

  • Apartments- Most apartments in the Denver Metro area have reasonable rental prices: Most studio apartments range from 400-500 dollars, 1 bedrooms range from 500-600 dollars, and so on.
  • Popular Areas to live- Capitol Hill is a very popular area to live because it is convenient to travel from there, and the apartment buildings were built in the 1920’s. Capitol Hill apartments are sometimes more expensive then average apartments in the Denver Metro area.
Downtown is a popular area to live in because it is also convenient. There are very nice buildings, and studio apartments, but downtown living can be very expensive, and also very noisy.
  • Suggestions- Try to get a roommate, stay within your price range, do a craigslist search: There are always new ads for apartments, all over Colorado. Craigslist.com is a great way to find apartments in Denver. Also try Rent.com, it will give you prices on housing, and has many different options to choose from.
